Overclock Your Smartphone

How to overclock your smartphone

What is "Overclock" ?
Overclock is method of increasing your system processor speed and performance by modifying system parameters

What is required for "Overclocking" ?

You need a rooted device and compatible kernel to overclock ( most kernels are not compatible , so just check your kernel and upgrade it ) . Be aware  Overclocking reduce your battery life , and may cause the device to become hot .

Step 1
Go to Google Play store  and download CPU tuner free , Your phone required to rooted
The app will then auto detecting the preferred setting of your phone's kernel.

Step 2
Open CPU tuner and go to manual setting , set manually upper and lower limit for your CPU speed . if you want to save battery, minimum CPU frequency . You need not change other setting , it will automatically select best setting for your phone .

Step 3
CPU tuner also have lots of function likes The CPU governor , WIFI ,2G & 3G setting .
CPU tuner comes also automatic scaling setting . Performance means that the CPU is set to run at maximum speed, while Power-save does the opposite and runs at the minimum

Test result
Underclocked :- To demonstrate the effect of changing the clock speed of the processor we first underclocked to 1 GHz  This could have the effect of prolonging battery life, although only in some circumstances. Some tasks will take longer to complete at 1 GHz than 1.4 GHz, so extend the length of time the processor is running on maximum .

Default setting :- To give us our comparative benchmark we
used the Aliyahs kernel clocked to the recommended default speed of 1.4 GHz. This gave us the equivalent of what Samsung
intended, with its combination of fast and smooth performance and long battery life. For everyday use, the default settings are the
way to go

Overclock :- Finally we overclocked the S III. The maximum setting of 1.8 GHz proved very unstable on our test device, so we opted for 1.7 GHz instead. Using this as standard could have an adverse effect on battery life, so proceed with caution. With heavy testing the device also started to get warmer than we were comfortable with.

2- Use the internal memory - Most of don't this method , if your device includes expansion card   capability,     it is very tempting to just move every app to the card to save on internal memory .

3-  Optimise your RAM - today date most of smartphone run on high speed RAM just like desktop PCs, Android smartphone and tablets will benefit from defragmentation from time to time . one quick way to clean things up is to simply turn your device off and back on, or better option is download memory booster Apps on Google play .it will really help when you are using high graphic Apps on your mobile

4- Reduce of  brightness - most of time we require brightness under sunlight or night time , so put your
brightness  in automatic mode , it is useful for you . just go to setting > display

5-  Clear notification - The notification that are accessible by tapping the top bar on the home screen are             not merely designed to tell you what is happening. They can be used as shortcuts and to potentially
let you spot problem . If you see a notification and are not sure which app it is from, hold your finger
down on it and an ‘App info’ dialog box will appear.Tap this and you will be taken to the settings

iOS 7 Security features

                                               Best iOS7 Security Features

The new iOS 7 comes from with great features and more elegance
look , with some very interesting and useful security additions          within the phone. iPhone theft is on the rise, here’s looking at the  seven security features that the iOS 7 fans must implement for      safeguarding security.

1. Find My iPhone authentication – This feature assists in locating your missing device, remotely locking it, sending a contact message to it, and erasing the phone’s data. This feature had been there since iOS 5 and the primary step by an iPhone thief is to switch it off. The latest iOS 7 needs its user to input the password for the associated Apple ID account for disabling the feature.

2. Activation Lock – This feature connects the device to your Apple ID and needs your Apple ID password before anyone can restore or reactivate the device. This feature is enabled so long as the Find My iPhone feature is activated as well.

3. Erase authentication – The new iOS 7 prevents the erasing of authentication code by uses the device passcode instead of password. So you must ensure you have them enabled on your phone.

4. Added Privacy settings – The iOS 7 makes privacy controls simple by allowing you to manage permissions for each app on your device with a mere on/off switch. The iOS 7 stretches this feature and permits you to assign which apps should have access to your microphone, camera, and cellular data.

5. Expanded data encryption – The older versions of iOS came with benefits that restricted it to the core iOS data. Third-party apps could make use of the encryption only if the app developer had included the protection. The iOS 7 has both the iOS and the third-party apps installed by you encrypted as default with the only exception being that the data encryption is attached to the device passcode.

6. Per-app VPN – This permits your iPhone to make a secure connection with remote resources including a corporate network, encrypting the traffic and preventing it from being intercepted or compromised. VPN comes with two extra benefits, firstly it allows you to configure apps so that they can connect over VPN only once they are launched. Secondly, the VPN tunnel is limited to the app hence personal information and Web browsing activity are not merged with the app data. The single exception being that the app developer should implement per-app VPN within the app.

7. iCloud Keychain – It is difficult to remember passwords, credit card numbers, and other sensitive data. This feature stores your contact information, usernames and passwords, and credit card information in a secure manner and syncs information to all of your iOS 7 devices and Mac OS X systems. Apple offers protection to the iCloud Keychain information with 256-bit AES encryption.

Secure your iPhone using the latest locking, encryption and data saving features of the    iOS 7.

Secure Android Mobile

Android Apps to secure your Mobile !

Now a day hackers find out flaws in Android Mobile and make compromise with them
so don't fear for that here we discuss about " "how to secure your smartphones"

Here are five of the best apps that add that final layer of security to your coveted smartphone device.
You can download from Google play store .

Privacy Master – Free App Lock  - Sometimes, access to specific apps on your device needs to be controlled. That is where this privacy app comes in. The Privacy Master – Free App Lock allows you to turn other apps into password protected applications, allowing only those who know the password to use them. Since everything on your Android-based handset is an application, you can lock anything from Settings to Memos

Hide Pictures - Keepsafe Vault  -Pictures and videos in your gallery may not always be meant for public viewing. This app allows you to hide such items from the gallery and they can be viewed only after passing through a password verification process. You have to enter a PIN in order to unlock these hidden pictures and videos. Further, you can also add a second PIN, called the Fake Pin, which you can give to those particularly persistent people who are bent on seeing your pictures. This opens a separate KeepSafe Vault, where you can choose what pictures the other will see.
Lock for WhatsApp Keep privacy WhatsApp has almost killed messaging nowadays, which makes securing this app very important for some users. You may want to hide some business contacts or simply the chat messages from your significant other, this app helps you do that. This app puts a timed lock on WhatsApp, keeping it unlocked for a specific period of time, which the user chooses.

Shady Browser This app is an internet browser that comes with a password lock to your internet browser so that only you can open it. It means no one will be able to see what you’ve been doing on the internet. Further, saves data too, doesn’t it? The browser doesn’t support video playback right now though, but the developers say that it will be added soon.

Apprivacy Permissions Privacy This app monitors the permission that each of your other applications need. The ones with minimum permissions are marked in green, while the ones with many are marked red. Intermediates go under the yellow flag. Malicious software often come under the red flag.

Secure Your Facebook Profile

                            Secure Your Facebook Profile!

Facebook rolled out its recent changes in Graph Search, it has given rise to new risks in terms of what can be controlled and what cannot be. But if you still want to keep your account safe, the best option is to limit how people see and share your posts, tags, images and location. We bring to you steps to take to reclaim some privacy on Facebook.

1. Start from the Privacy Settings section

The primary way to control your information on Facebook starts by configuring the Privacy Settings area. Head to the Privacy Settings section by using the drop down menu on the upper righthand corner of your profile.

2. Who should see your posts?

Facebook's main privacy tools are broken down into three primary areas, which focus on who can see what you post, who can contact you, and how you can be looked up using the Web or personal details (phone numbers, or email).

When it comes to who can see your stuff, the first option deals with "future" posts – as in posts from this point forward. The recommended setting is friends, as this limits the amount of people who can passively see what you've written. It will also limit the types of posts that appear in Graph Search results.

3. Examine your Activity Log thoroughly

After that, you'll want to enable the Activity Log, which allows you to be selective about which posts appear on your timeline. Through the log, you'll see all the images and posts you're tagged in, with the option to remove the tag, as well as disallow it from appearing on your timeline. You can also see (and delete) old posts, images, check-ins, and comments you've made.

4. Limit past posts

The last thing to do in this section is to limit your past posts. Facebook will throw a warning when you attempt to do this, because all of the old post (going back to your very first one) that may be public will be removed. For a company that encourages sharing, this isn't something they'd like to see. Also, the process cannot be reversed. Keep in mind - individual posts can be left public if you wish, but the recommendation is to limit all of them, and then sort out what should be kept after the fact.

5. How easily can your profile be found?

After altering those settings, you'll move on to manage the contact and lookup functions. When it comes to who can send friend requests on the site, the option is really a personal one. Most people (myself included) opt to leave this set to everyone. However, to lower the amount of network spam from random users, the strict filtering option is enabled for Inbox messages.

For lookups, friends only is the safest bet, otherwise anyone who already sees your email address or phone number, can use those to search for your profile. Also, if you allow search engines to link to your profile, then sites like Google and Bing can index and link to your profile and timeline.

6. Future posts can now be managed for privacy

After you've managed your Activity Log, which has clear markers as to the sorting and management of posts, you mat want to change the privacy settings of a single post on your timeline. When this happens, you can do this directly by clicking the arrow just under your name. Optionally, there is a pencil icon to the upper right of the post's box, which can be used to edit or delete the post.
